Ideas for Actions You Can Take

Resources for helping communities who are negatively impacted systematic oppression and discrimination.

This is dedicated for us to share resources for things we can do to help, including donating time, money, and/or our educational tools and resources to helping underrepresented and marginalized individuals, especially Black, Indigenous, People of Colo(u)r (BIPOC). This is also a space for us to share online tutorials, lectures, events, etc. as we see fit, that we can actively engage in that contribute to the betterment of those folx. (Note: folx is not a typo. This is also meant to explicitly acknowledge the inclusion of members of who are LGTBQIA2S+.)

Some of these resources may be repeats from the parent page Education/Resources on Systematic Discrimination in Academia. That’s okay. The goal for this page is that we can turn to it in times where we get overwhelmed, disappointed, or frustrated by all the information, and need to find ways to do something tangible, like donating or participating in community activities.
